My Story

I'm a senior physiotherapist working in Critical Care at Bournemouth Hospital. I'm fundraising for a robotic tilt table which is a fantstic innovative piece of kit which will improve the rehabilitation opportunities we can provide for our patients both on the unit and on the wards. This could transform our care as it allows us to get people moving and exercising so much earlier. We could even use this with people who are still having support on the ventilator. Getting people moving as early as possible is so important during and after critical illness. The robotic tilt table allows us to get a patient into an upright position at a much earlier stage. this could be someone having suffered a stroke, a cardiac arrest or having an ICU aquired weakness after being ventilated and intubated.

It costs £95,000 and I want to contribute as much as I can which is why I'm raising money and taking part in "Ride london" and have set up this page for donations.
