My Story

I have the privilege of seeing the great work being done every day by the amazing team at Haven House who support children and their families at their time of greatest need.

So when one the well trained and experienced riders due to ride and raise funds for us had to cancel and there were no other takers - I felt compelled to try and take up the slack.

This began with seeing who might lend me a bicycle (thank you Monty Gershon) and a training plan....

I mean how hard can it be to cycle 100 miles?

Well having been back on the saddle for less than two weeks (so far building up to around 20 miles) and with around 10 more days to go - I can honestly say it is going to be quite hard.

So this is where I am calling on friend, family, colleagues, acquitances to spare what they can and give me the extra motivation that will be needed for 7 gruelling hours in the saddle on Sun 28th May.
