My Story
I was asked "Why is it that I want to help make a difference"? Maybe I just feel lucky to be able to help, lucky I’m not the one experiencing the dread of becoming homeless, not having any security left in my life. I left home at 17, moved into a bedsit, then sofa surfed for a while before I joined the Army. That was my salvation, but not everyone is as fortunate as me. Our lives could be turned upside down in a heartbeat, and we could loose everything in a flash or over a long heart wrenching, spirraling period. We all need food, warmth and security and hopefully you can help me help Wycombe Homeless Connection help those that need just that and add a bit of dignity back into peoples lives. I've never cycled more than 15 miles at once so this is going to be a challenge. Any donation will help motivate me and help someone not so lucky. So please donate what you can and help inspire me to help others. Thank you.
