My Story

For several decades I lived a sedentary lifestyle. Then, just before the pandemic, I ended up in West Mids hospital for nearly a month with a critical illness. I was lucky to survive and believe my lifestyle choices contributed to the illness. So now I have embraced sport and naturally, having an addictive personality, am taking it to extremes. RideLondon is a big cycle-up for me and will be my longest ride ever. On my long road back to health I decided I wanted to give something back to our local community in this area, which has given so much to me and people I know and love. 

Brentford FC is my local club, I am in awe not just at their progress in the league but at the incredible amount of work they do in the local community, and have done for years. Please support their work to help local kids and others benefit from the fantastic resources this trust can bring to their lives.
