My Story

I have chosen to raise money for Brentford FC Community Sports Trust because as a family we have experienced first-hand what the charity does to bring people together, using sports as a vehicle to help those in need. My family has benefited hugely from being involved so I wanted to pay it forward and help other families who may need some support...

Over the past year the trust has helped to deliver 15,000+ community sessions and engaged with over 12,000+ people.

One of the activities that they help to deliver, in partnership with Action-Attainment, is On The Ball. The sessions are run for small groups of neurodiverse children; with football coaches and occupational therapists working together to deliver well structured, easy to access training sessions.

The experience has been life changing for so many of the families involved. It offers children a welcoming, positive and safe environment where they are comfortable being themselves.

Whilst the children are learning football skills they are also learning social skills and life skills - something that will help them for the rest of their lives.

We would like to expand these sessions so that more families can benefit from having a similar experience.

Thank you for supporting our cause.
