My Story

Update: Yesterday I finished my first ever 100 mile ride in a not too shabby 5 hours and 16 mins. It was an early start at 5:30am to cycle to the beginning, we lined up for our 7am start and it was a bit chilly but it turned into a gloriously sunny morning. Thank you to all the people in Essex who came out cheer the 22,000 cyclist on - you were amazing. And a very big thank you to all my sponsors for donating to this great cause. This page will stay active for a while for any post ride donations please :-)

I'm riding 100 miles / 160 kilometres through London and Essex on May 28th to raise money for DEC the Disasters Emergency Committee.

In the last year we have seen the Ukraine crisis unfold, the devastating earthquake to have hit southern Turkey and terrible floods in Pakistan. This has effected many millions of people, making them homeless and in need of help.

DEC are supporting local aid efforts around the globe to provide cash assistance, food, healthcare, clean water, shelter, protection, and so much more.

Please spare whatever you can to help those who are suffering through no fault of their own.
