My Story

In 2018 I swam 2 miles in the Serpentine. Last year I ran the London Marathon. This year I aim to complete my hat trick with the 100-mile Ride London. If I do, I will receive the London Classics medal, inscribed "Et Ego Londinium Vici" ("I conquered London"). And I've done it all in aid of the Free Representation Unit (FRU).

FRU is a fantastic organisation, providing advice and representation where it is needed most, to those who cannot afford to pay and in tribunals where legal aid is not available.  As a judge, I see how support from organisations such as FRU makes a significant contribution to the efficient administration of justice as well as being of enormous benefit to the individuals themselves.

It would be wonderful if I could make the completion of the hat trick also my biggest fundraising effort yet, so please give generously!
