My Story

It's highly probable any of you clicking here already know most of my story - but here it is in a slimmed down version anyway.

My experience of being raped in my teens laid down a mass of emotions that I locked away for most of my life, driving some ridiculous behaviours and culminating in me developing severe mental health problems and attempting suicide.

Receiving counselling was the first step on my journey back to a healthier mind and cycling is part of my journey to improved physical health.

Why not combine the two, I thought, and use this event to help to give back to those who helped me and many others.
